Storage Tank Information
When you choose a plastic tank you know that you can install it and
forget it. There is no need to paint it or protect it from the
elements - every tank is manufactured from top quality, medium
density polyethylene.
A rotational moulding process is used, this creates the tank in one piece. This creates a stress free container that has a uniform wall thickness throughout. Unlike other processes, this means that it has tremendous resistance to cracking or splitting.
Installation is easy, because these tanks are around half the weight of an old style metal tank. and there is no need to build supporting pillars, these tanks can be placed on to any flat concrete surface. They will never rot or rust, you can even have your tank installed below the level of your boiler by using a low cost Tigerloop.
Most tanks have a sealed aperture ready to accept an Oil Watchman sensing probe that will advise you remotely of the level of fuel in your tank.
